Brooke and Channing

This is a special post for me because these are very special people. Brooke and Channing got married last weekend, and I'm starting to edit the pictures (the RAW ones taken on his 5D mark II will have to wait).

I had the best of both worlds - I got to shoot their first ceremony with family, then got to be a part of the celebration the next day during their bigger celebration. Jason Johns and I joked that it was relaxing, yet, intimidating to photograph another photographer's wedding, especially when it's someone as incredibly talented as Channing (btw, if you're getting hitched, he is the man to contact).

I feel very lucky to have these two people in my life. Congratulations guys!

Kudos to Dina

My co-worker Dina Rudick had an idea and ran with it.

Oh, and my voice has a cameo...really couldn't have been done without my voice ;)

greetings from Maine

Stuck here 'cause of the storm. Assignment details and why I was here to come in the next 2 days.

Here's a pic I took on the side of the road:

ps. This is a real image. Go ahead, run shadow/highlight on it :)

My few seconds of fame

Boston is more like a big town than a city. Today a guy stopped me at a restaurant and said, "hey, weren't you in the paper yesterday?"

Why, yes. Yes, I was.

I've been meaning to write a post about my experiences in New England. As my roommate says, "New Englanders: hard and crusty on the outside; soft, gooey, caramel on the inside."

I've grown quite fond of the people here.

One-minute day

If the soundtrack sounds similar to this video it's 'cause it is. Richard James is the man. And a big thanks to the people at Remix for giving us permission to use these beats.

my name in the paper

This is not an endorsement.

I just wanted to say it's kinda neat to live in a city where a City Councilor and I share the same name (Yoon is his last name). He may run for mayor, in which case I may be seeing my name in bigger print.

Finally, I can be like my other colleagues and colleagues past, and collect funny headlines with my name in it.
