it's 3am, i'm jet-lagged, and i can't sleep. luckily i've got company.

i just thought this sequence was funny. when we lived in vienna, we used to joke that the sun would disappear from october until may. it wasn't far from the truth. my unscientific theory is that being near the alps, the moisture creates clouds that get trapped, and just linger and hover over cities. it creates this overcast, dark, kinda dreary scenery throughout the winter months. i have to admit, i think i would have been much more excited if my family was still living in argentina where it's the peak of summer rather than the dead of winter here in switzerland. but it's great to see them.
