i'd been having a wonderful week - with lots of crazy glitches. feeling like i'm finally getting out of a visual slump. lots of great news all around the industry and from friends. we work in a creative field, and i think creative people have especially keen and heightened emotions. i was telling my mom that some days can feel like the whole world is ending, while on others you feel like you're on top of the world. so, my high was interrupted when i saw this....

this made me profoundly sad.

*sigh*

but i urge you to look. if not to feel grateful that there are special places where precedents have been set for powerful visual imagery and storytelling.

i do have more stuff to blog. a little later. it's been a little nutty the past 3 weeks.

poor noah. lost his scarf. broke his jacket zipper. lost a glove. got the wrong skis. twisted his leg (not too bad). we still had fun riding on ice crystals. welcome to east coast skiing.
